About Us

Matt Dumas

Senior Pastor

Matt Dumas is our faithful and passionate Senior Pastor.

He is a good ol’ boy from Texas with a warm, down to earth personality, and a strong conviction that good leaders lead by example.

Matt believes in renewing hearts and minds through Biblical teaching. His commitment to the Bible is demonstrated through his Word-centered sermons and his relentless pursuit of personally growing in the knowledge of his Savior.

After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology Degree, Matt and his beautiful wife Wendy moved with their three sons to the Antelope Valley. Even with a busy schedule he continues to make sure that the people around him are loved and supported, especially his family.

His love for God and others is on constant display by the ways that he humbly serves those under his care.

Gerry Chaddick

Pastoral Care

The party hasn’t started ‘till Gerry arrives!

Gerry is a fun, people-oriented, social butterfly who strives to make friends with every person that comes into his life. One of his greatest qualities is his genuine love for people, regardless of whether they are close to him or not.

His commitment to live and love like Jesus is on constant display through the way he values genuine and life-giving relationships.

Matt Guarino

NexGen Pastor

Matt is one of the most determined pastors you will ever meet. He believes that ministry is the hardest, most rewarding work one could ever engage in. Matt’s passion for Jesus is often demonstrated through his powerful sermons and intentional one-on-one meetings with growing disciples. Although Matt works hard, he would be the to first admit that he could never do it without the help of his amazing wife, Nicole.

Bryan Ingram

Worship Pastor

Bryan and his amazing wife, TJ, hail from the sandy beaches of Florida. They are both passionate followers of Jesus who love to serve Him together. Bryan’s worship style is authentic and heart-felt. The stage he leads from is not the pinnacle of a concert, but an alter unto the Lord.

The only thing Bryan loves more than music is his dog, and his white shoes. Ok, not really, but he does talk about them a lot. Our church is grateful to have such a relatable and down to earth worship leader. When he’s not on the stage he’s busy meeting with people, training musicians, and teaching others what it means to live and love like Jesus.

Scott Sturdyvin

Creative Pastor

Scott is known as the man with many talents. His creativity, vision, and sometimes off the wall ideas, help keep Central fresh and fun. On staff he’s the man that everyone wants, and has, on their team. The only people around the office who are more popular than him are his four fun-loving kids, Brody, Brooklyn, Bristol, and Brixton and his amazing wife, Monique. As the Creative Pastor, Scott brings all the “dots” of the church together to create a welcoming family environment.

Mike Harris

Mike is the chairman of the Elders, and has been part of the Central family since 1991. He’s always ready to make you laugh and likes to bend the rules ever so slightly, like when he described himself in three words “not a morning person”. Mike retired from aerospace and loves to workout and be a grandpa. He is diligent in prayer, faithful to God, and a blessing to Central. Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 10:13

Matt Dumas

Senior Pastor/Elder

Matt has been with the Central family since 2013. He fit right in as our senior pastor and is a great leader. Matt loves Tex-mex fajitas, and watching movies, but nothing compares to his beloved Baylor Bears. He is intentional and disciplined in his study of God’s Word and is committed to following the Holy Spirit. We are thankful for his guidance and leadership. Favorite Bible Verse: Genesis 3:15

Gerry Chaddick

Pastoral Care/Elder

Gerry has been a part of the Central family since 1996. He has been a pastor for 42 years and served at Central for half of them. Josh Christopher

Josh served in the USAF for 11 years before transitioning into the aerospace industry as a Program Manager. Stealth/Airpower is his jam! He and his wife, Chrystal, have 2 boys and identical twin girls. As a family, they love to go RV’ing - whether it’s beaches, mountains, Disney, or across country to their Buckeye State home! OH-IO! His passion is to lead well and connect families to community for the purpose of discipleship and daily living out God’s word in a manner that brings joy and most glorifies Him. Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:31

Tacho Gallegos

Tacho has been a part of Central since 2005. He works as a senior project manager for an Architectural Millwork company. Together with his wife, Ana, they have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. Joe’s servant heart is evident to all who know him. Favorite Bible Verse: Deuteronomy 15:11

Doug Jenkins

Since 2006 Doug has been a part of the Central family. He works in aerospace, loves Jesus and strives to be the best husband and father he can be. He also loves a good taco salad drenched in queso. Favorite Bible Verse: Ephesians 1:3-10

Allen Parker

Since 1996 Allen and his family have called Central home. When asked to describe himself in three words he said “A blessed man”. Did we mention he’s an engineer and that he loves spaghetti? Our Beliefs

Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible came into existence through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is God's verbal and complete revelation to man.  As such, it was inerrant in its original documents and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, The Father, and The Son and The Holy Spirit.  These three are identical in nature, equal in power and glory, have precisely the same attributes and perfections, yet execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of providence and redemption.
Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14

We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, justice, wisdom, power and love.  We believe He acts mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Eph. 1:3; Col. 1:3, 2 Pet. 1:17
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit.  We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings.  We believe that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a propitiatory and substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, and that our redemption is made sure through His bodily resurrection from the dead.  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is now in heaven exalted at the right hand of the Father where, as our High Priest, He intercedes on our behalf.  We believe in the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His Kingdom reign upon this earth.
John 1:1-2; Luke 1:35; Rom. 3:24; 1 Pet. 1:3-5; Heb. 9:24; Heb. 7:25; Rom. 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:6

We believe that the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.  We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every Christian, seals them unto the day of redemption, and is our present helper, teacher and guide.  We believe that the Holy Spirit imparts Spiritual Gifts to Christians and thus equips them for effective ministry in the Body.  We believe that it is the responsibility and privilege of every Christian to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
John 15:26; John 16:8; Rom. 8-9; Eph. 1:13-14; John 14:26; John 16:13; 1 Cor. 12:7; Eph. 5:18
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but through sin became alienated from God, acquired a sin nature, and came under the judicial sentence of death.
Gen. 1:25-26; Rom. 3:22-23; 5:12-21; Eph. 2:1-3,12
We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under condemnation and in need of a Savior.  We believe that salvation is the gift of God offered to man by grace and received by faith in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord, and the genuine faith will manifest itself in works pleasing to God.
Eph. 2:1-3; Eph. 2:8-10; Rom. 10:9,10
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience to Jesus' command, and as a picture of our union or sharing with Him, in the likeness of His death, burial and resurrection.
Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 6:1-4
We believe in both the universal and local church.   The universal church, whose Head is Christ, is made up of all born-again persons irrespective of their denominational affiliation.  The local church (a portion of the body of Christ) is a group of believers who have organized for the purpose of glorifying God through carrying out His will and sharing His word in the world.
Eph. 1:22-23; 5:23; Rev. 2-4
We believe that the condition and punishment of the lost and the salvation and blessedness of the saved are conscious and everlasting.
Mark 9:43-48; Rev. 20:10-15; 22:3-5,11
We believe that these truths are not just a sacred trust to be preserved and taught, but to be lived out in our daily lives as well.
(Note:  While the Bible teaches and we believe other doctrines, these are fundamental or foundational doctrines.  Our commitment is, "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty and in all things love.")
